Ireland’s top distance runner and singer jointly launch the Great Ireland Run 2008 in the Phoenix Park

National 5,000 metre track champion and Olympic marathon prospect, Martin Fagan of Mullingar AC,

joined with singer Ronan Keating today (Monday 14th January) to launch the Great Ireland Run 2008

which will take place on Sunday April 6th in the Phoenix Park, Dublin. Fagan and Keating were

accompanied at the launch in the Phoenix Park Visitor Centre by Irish international and 2006 cross country

champion Vinnie Mulvey of Raheny Shamrocks AC.

 RTE Two television will broadcast the Run live in a special programme.
