Ronan and his family set up this Foundation up in 2001 in memory of their mother Marie who unfortunately died from breast cancer in February 1998.
This page briefly looks at what the Foundation is all about.
The aim of the Marie Keating Foundation was to promote information and awareness of breast cancer and to look at the how other people out there could get the knowledge.
In Ireland, the Foundation has set up three mobile units which provide the information about breast cancer across the country. Staffed nurses and unit drivers work together to provide the service.
